This fender is original to the bike as it came from Japan and has never been removed from the original foam wrapper. The rear fender was carefully removed in it's original protective bag (once) for picture taking purposes only, then carefully replaced in the exact location it came from. It was built with Ohtsu "PV" tires, unlike earlier 1986 models produced, which were outfitted with the Ohtsu "PRO VECTOR" rubber. This particular machine was produced near the last build run, at Honda of Japan. It is a #'s matching, 100% year correct original. It is in amazing condition and is exactly as it arrived at the dealership's dock back in 1986. This 250R is a real complete time capsule. The cover has gotten brittle over the years and has been removed less than 10 times for inspection and viewing. This crated ATC's cardboard cover has been removed at times, allowing for display, reinstalled, and then stored back in a dry dark environment.
It is used, unassembled and has never been removed from the original crate, straight from Japan in 1986.
